Admiring Female Beauty Through Imitation

While I myself am not a cross dresser or sissy, I think I can understand the attraction some men have to the idea of imitating a woman.

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery after all, and as such, a man seeking to dress and behave like a woman is in its way, a clear compliment to the beauty and grace that is integral to being female.

I say that I can understand the attraction for this exact reason. While my admiration for female beauty doesn’t manifest in this form, I don’t judge the way it does for others. If women weren’t such amazing, beautiful creatures, we wouldn’t be so drawn to them. For some men this draw is so strong they wish they could be female too.

I think it is wrong to try to box the concept of cross dressing into being a “sexual fetish”. While this is true for some, it isn’t for all. For most cross dressers, sex isn’t the focus, being female is. That is where they find their freedom and what they feel to be their true place in the world.

The same thing holds for the “sissy fetish” - which is essentially a more stylized form of cross dressing. While assumed to be a sexual fetish and something done strictly for forms of gay or femdom sex, reality is the real focus for many sissies, just like other cross dressers, is on being female. Given the choice between watching porn and watching a show that described a new type of makeup and its application, most sissies I know would choose the latter with great excitement and anticipation.

Some might call it sick or repulsive, but when looked at from an open mind, cross dressing first and foremost is a life choice made by another person that should be respected as their decision. Secondly, of all the choices on could make, this one in itself, is a harmless one, so there is little to complain about in truth. And finally, it is merely another person’s way of expressing their admiration and love of female beauty, something we all share.
